| August through October
|
| New 7th grade students
were invited to become members if their grade point average
from the previous school semester is 92% or better. |
| Meetings are held to
welcome new members and discuss fundraising projects for the
current school year. |
| Bake sales, sold
stretchy book covers, and held large fundraisers. |

| Helped a needy family
who lost their home in a fire with food staples and home
items as a community service project. |

| December
|
| This year we
had two large projects: Visit to Meadow Brook Care Facility
in Van Alystne to sing Christmas Carols and spread glad
tidings. We also participated in the local Anna Angel Tree
and held a small Angel Tree for several students in AMS.

| January through March |
| Bake sales to raise
money for April Convention. We also provided books and art
supplies for Pre-K classes as an AISD community service
project. |
| |
| April |
| Provided videos for
our AES and AMS libraries as another AISD community service
project. We went to the state convention - April 22, 23 at
teh Adams Mark Hotel in Dallas. We won second place in
scrapbook competition and invited to participate at
Nationals Bake sale. |

| May |
| Helper Auction -
auctioned our eighth grade members to students and staff for
a day of service. We had another Bake Sale. |

| Requirements to
stay in Beta are: Keep your grades around a 90%, no ISS,
have a heart to serve your community. |
