Elementary Attendance Zones
Currently in
the Anna Independent School District, we have over 1,000 students in
pre K through 5th grade, and we are expecting another
large increase next school year. As a part of the master plan to
provide facilities for our future student needs, we will open Sue
Evelyn Rattan Elementary at the start of the next school year. At
that point, Joe K. Bryant and Sue Evelyn Rattan will each serve pre
K through 5th grade students, with separate attendance
zones to maximize the use of each of these facilities.
At the
special called meeting of the AISD Board of Trustees on Wednesday,
April 11, 2007, the members approved the proposed attendance zones
for the 2007-2008 school year. As citizens, you will have two
opportunities to express your approval and/or concerns on these
attendance zones. For your convenience, you may express your

April 16 through April 27, 2007. Also, a public meeting is
scheduled for April 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Anna High School
